PalaTime lets you run padel sessions — with or without an account. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control or remove it. Playing a session with just a shared code, with no sign-up, involves no personal data collection beyond what's described under “Session codes” below.
If you create an account (email/password or “Continue with Google”):
If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google to create the account; we don't receive or request access to anything else in your Google account.
Anyone can create or join a session with just a shareable code — no email, no sign-up. Guest player names typed into a session are stored only against that session, are visible to anyone with the session code (by design, so players can see the scoreboard), and are not linked to any account unless that person separately signs in and links themselves.
PalaTime is built on Supabase, which hosts our database, authentication, and file storage. Supabase acts as our infrastructure provider and doesn't use your data for its own purposes. If you sign in with Google, Google acts as an identity provider for that sign-in only.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in — nothing else. Your browser also stores a few small, device-local values (like recently visited sessions, or an admin session for a game you're running) so the app works smoothly offline at the court; these never leave your device except when needed to talk to our API.
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is used, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let signed-in users know.
